The Inclusion of the APJHSS in China's Weipu Database
Dear Authors/Contributors,
We are delighted to announce that the Asia-Pacific Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (APJHSS, Print ISSN: 2653-0465 & Online ISSN: 2653-1526) has been officially included in the authoritative Chinese database “Weipu (維普).” The inclusion link is: https://www.cqvip.com/journal/2186033/2186033. This marks the journal’s first inclusion in a core academic platform in China, following its previous acceptance by over 20 international databases, including the National Library of Australia, Google Scholar, ROAD, ScienceGate, and Semantic Scholar. This achievement represents a dual breakthrough in the journal’s academic influence and international dissemination capabilities.
The APJHSS remains dedicated to promoting cutting-edge research in the humanities and social sciences across the Asia-Pacific region, strictly adhering to academic standards, and ensuring the quality of its publications. This inclusion will further enhance the visibility of authors’ work, facilitate the sharing of academic resources, and foster cross-regional collaboration. We sincerely invite scholars from around the world to continue their support and actively contribute to the journal.

Reviewers must follow the Peer Review Policy of APJHSS. The review process is very important since it determines whether a given manuscript is to be published, can be revised to be publishable, or cannot be published.
APJHSS utilizes a broad base of researchers, educators, practitioners, and graduate students in the editorial review process. It encourages new ideas and technology to enhance the quality of life for international communities. As a result, innovation and usefulness are judgments made by reviewers in dealing with similar problems in similar settings. The review process on a submission is normally completed within 20 days. The submitted work to be published should be original and should not have been published elsewhere in any form or language (partially or in full). The manuscript should not be submitted to more than one journal for simultaneous consideration. And the authors should avoid plagiarism. The entire review process consists of the following 5 stages:
Stage 1: Once a manuscript is submitted to APJHSS, an email will be sent for the reference of the author and acknowledgement for submission.
Stage 2: Every manuscript will be assigned to two members of the editorial board related to the field for the blind peer review.
Stage 3: The agreed reviewers submit their review reports on the manuscripts and their recommendations of one of the following actions to the editor in charge:
can be published without revision
can be revised to be publishable
cannot be published.
Stage 4: The editor in charge submits his/her recommendations of one of the following actions to the editor-in-chief:
can be published without revision
can be revised to be publishable
cannot be published.
Stage 5: The editor-in-chief makes the ultimate decision whether the submitted manuscripts will be published on a basis of recommendations from the action editor.
